Welcome to Kindergarten!  My name is Amber Wellin, and this is my 4th year teaching Kindergarten here at Clippard!  This is my 13th year working in the Cape Girardeau Public School District, and I previously served as the Pre-K teacher at Clippard and have also worked as a teaching assistant.  I can't imagine myself doing anything else!  I absolutely love teaching, and I love getting to know all of my students and their families!

 

Personal info about me:
I am married and live in Gordonville, MO.  My husband and I have been married for 10 years.  My husband has lived in Missouri all of his life, and I am originally from Illinois.  I graduated from Kendall College in Chicago with my Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education and Early Childhood Special Education.  I also have completed my Master's degree in Teacher Leadership through Southeast Missouri State. 

Family is a huge part of my life, and I look forward to supporting my students and their families!
